The CCAS logo is designed in the shape of a Möbius ring, inspired by the sculpture on the campus of Beijing Foreign Studies University, where CCAS was launched in April 2022.

The Möbius ring connects reversed ends of a strip. CCAS unites scholars and experts from different countries and academic background to enable them to work together in promoting the development of country and area studies and integrating more academic resources into it, This uniting power will circulate infinitely, to ensure the lasting development of country and area studies.
